Day 1
Arrive and welcome
Greenagers Mission & Land Acknowledgement
Tour of April Hill Farm and conserved land
Onsite service learning opportunities
Day 2
Participate in morning garden chores
Seed saving workshop
Volunteer with a partner organization’s food bank
Cook dinner using some ingredients youth harvest from the farm
Day 3
Plant seeds or seedlings at the April Hill Farm or greenhouse
Process firewood for the wood bank
Waterfall hike
Swim at a local swimming hole
Cook dinner using some ingredients youth harvest from the farm
Movie night under the stars
Day 4
Local History Tour – Elizabeth Freeman
Local hike of relevant historical landmarks
Picnic Lunch
Reflective art or writing project based on the week’s activities
Cook dinner using some ingredients youth harvest from the farm
Campfire and Reflection time
Day 5
Group Activities: break camp, make lunch from the garden, or participate in service
Lunch and group reflection
