We are very excited to announce two new Agriculture programs at Greenagers. In addition to our Agricultural Apprenticeships (now accepting applications!), we now offer these two programs for youth and young adults looking to dig deeper and get involved with local farming and gardening and conversing about food justice and our local food systems. New Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship!

Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, Greenagers is pleased to offer a scholarship to a graduating senior or young person under the age of 25 pursuing secondary education or work experience in the sustainable agriculture field. Amazing Film Festival Coming to Great Barrington on March 10th

On Saturday March 10th from 9am-12:30pm Greenagers, the Great Barrington Land Conservancy, the Community Development Corporation of South Berkshire, and Wild and Scenic Westfield River will be bringing a FREE film festival to the Triplex in downtown Great Barrington. The festival is a celebration of all things river, in particular the 50th anniversary of the passage of the Federal Wild and Scenic Rivers Act. Greenagers is now hiring trail crew leaders for the 2017 season.

Job: Trail Crew Leader

Description: Greenagers seeks responsible supervisors for summer trail crews. Responsibilities include overseeing trail building and/or rehabilitation by teenage crews in a variety of out-of-door environments, driving vans to work site, educating teenagers on a variety of environmental issues, and reporting to Trails Coordinator.
